"This Just In..." is set in 1975, in a newsroom in Chicago. Ace news anchor, Hildy Johnson, has decided to leave the station, but her love of a good story overshadows her love of a man. "This Just In.." is based on the 1928 comedy, "The Front Page", which also found new life as the 1940 movie, "His Girl Friday".
